Speldhurst
is a village in Kent, England, with a population of about
1500. We are approximately 50km south east of London, and
5km from Tunbridge Wells, a historic spa town with many shops
and restaurants.
There has been a settlement here since before the Norman Conquest.
Speldhurst is close to other notable landmarks including Hever
Castle, Penshurst Place, Groombridge Place and Chartwell.
Today, we have a Victorian primary school, a church with famous
Burne
Jones & William Morris stained glass windows, an old
world pub, a newly rebuilt village hall, a shop and post office,
as well as several small businesses.
